Ubuntu shortkey in terminal ctrl+a or Home Moves the cursor to the start of a line. ctrl+e or End Moves the cursor to the e nd of a line. ctrl+b Moves to the b eginning of the previous or current word. ctrl+k Deletes from the current cursor position to the end of the line. ctrl+u Deletes the whole of the current line. ctrl+w Deletes the word before the cursor.

System > Administration > Synaptic Package Manager Search for "nautilus-open-terminal" Mark it for installation then click Apply. Open a new file browser and right click a folder. You should see "Open in Terminal". If you do not then log off and log in again. PS: You can use the bellowing command to install nautilus-open-terminal $ sudo apt-get install nautilus-open-terminal  (picture from http://commons.wikimedia.org/)
